“Summit” exciting to aim for

Backed by years of experience in the team, but as a new brand in the competitive automative market, Summit Vans was and still is an energetic, disruptive, fun and creative business that specialises in contract hire and flexi-lease deals on new and used vans.  

They needed an injection of design, data and ideas to help bring their new brand to life, give it some serious style and start bringing in quality leads for the sales team to pursue. In such a competitive market, with lease agreements as short as 12 months and new stock rolling into the forecourt every week, this was a fast-paced marketing project with high design demands and challenging cost per lead targets.

Momentum on Meta, growth on Google

To keep up with the momentum at Summit, we created a design library of social media and email marketing assets, that could be quickly and efficiently updated by their internal teams as deals changed, without compromising their brand identity and personality. This empowered their team to launch ads to market faster, while giving our design team the creative freedom and flexibility to work on premium assets such as videos and animations, to add even more impact to their digital collateral. 

Prospecting and remarketing audiences were established in Meta and Google Ads, and then tried, tested and refined based on performance metrics to create successful audiences, that delivered a cost per lead that kept on improving over time. As new vehicle makes and models were introduced, new audiences were also created to reflect the new target audiences, while still retaining the data driven, evidence-based and research-led foundations from the campaigns that came before.

From marketing materials to full digital designs

After working alongside the Summit team for over 2 years, the brand had grown, its style had evolved, and their product and service overing had expanded. From Summit Vans, came Summit Drive (the car equivalent) and then Summit Leasing and all three were ready for a full design refresh. Taking the best bits from the marketing material we’d already established and applying the relevant UX principles, we worked alongside their platform partners and in-house experts to create three brand new websites that are ready to take Summit Vans (Drive and Leasing) to the next level.
